Morphis – 10 years in the making

As we celebrate our upcoming 10 year anniversary at Morphis this year, we will be profiling some of our design approaches and insights into how we are fostering strong identities and crafting memorable experiences.

We start with the pivotal urban regeneration competition win from 2014, Kai Tak City public realm in Hong Kong, prepared around the kitchen table as a fledgling practice. One of the most significant regeneration projects in Hong Kong, transforming and uniting Kai Tak City. Embedded in the culture of Hong Kong’s diverse community, the ‘Living Roots’ design concept is Banyan tree inspired, symbolic of the urban jungle growing coherently in time and space, fostering local heritage and spirit.
